Yakov, of course you are right, and my March lows became highs. At the same November post, I also said we will probably retest those lows in June, so while we did not get the 13' in March, we might retest the lows just above it. My problem with the sector is that i do not see yet the condition for a good multi year upcycle yet, that is why I am trying to be nimble. Not with great success, I must add.

Excellent post Yakov. Wish I had sold part of my position in the $27+ range, to reestablish a larger long position at these lower prices. I believe I've learned a lesson there.

Hope everybody is having a nice weekend! Summer is such a luxury living in the snow belt.

>>>All I am pretty sure of is that CYMI goes down when semis are selling off and rebounds when the big money rotates back into the sector.<<<

SO true. Until we get some positive news the whole sector is in a down trend, and Cymer with their not so stellar performance last quarter and week outlook for next quarter has a good chance of retesting it's low of 14 1/2. Never the less Cymer has the technology to take us into the next century and the demand will be STRONG.

For that reason I started buying again at 18 and will buy more at every 1 1/2 point drop.

Am I throwing my money away? Maybe, but you know what they say, NO PAIN NO GAIN!
