Terrence, you could lick palm oil from all the nooks and crannies of my body, but PLEASE don't get any near my mouth. Yuck!!!!!!!! It is bad enough in ramen noodles, something I enjoy for a quick meal but am afraid will kill me eventually. I definitely want to minimize my exposure.

My information on canola oil comes from a reputable health guide, as I remember, as being more beneficial than all the other oils except olive oil. However, I am thinking of cold pressed canola oil, not mass market. Mass produced oils are not good for anyone!!! That does explain why I drew a complete blank on what exactly a canola was, however.

Did you see the funny ads on tv where a guy comes to a door, obviously desperately hungry, after being lost in the wilds or something, and the lady of the house offers him fried chicken, and he asks if it is cooked in vegetable oil, and she says, why yes! Then he says no thanks and leaves. It is quite amusing.

Do you feel better having used grapeseed oil? What are the benefits you have experienced?
