Gil, how quick have you found them to make available buying power resulting from a sale of stock? Or put another way, after receiving a confirmation of a sale of stock, does the system immediately allow you to buy more stock with the proceeds of the prior sale?

Short interest figures for AMTD... confirms what I thought. Great potential for short squeeze. These shares are not being held for a secondary, but rather were shorted over time...IMO. Looking back 12 months confirms this.

Float is currently around 5 mil shares so about 20% short. Fairly high... especially considering average daily volume (around 100,000).

Looking back it seems many shorts climbed on board when AMTD had it's last run between OCT to DEC. You can see what the shorts did then for the price. Most have not covered and if anything AMTD's fundamentals have improved.
