Emile: Dear Father. You tell us to come boldly before the throne of grace; but Father, our awe of you causes us to plead and tremble before your power and holiness. Father give us the strength to come before you in praise and thanksgiving. Give us the strength to lift up our eyes and our heads and to keep from falling on our faces. Father; we do not come before you in self interest but on this occasion lift up a brother in the Lord. Father his name is Mike and he has cancer. Father you have designed us as instruments of intercession after the likeness of your Son, Christ Jesus. We look up to you asking for a complete deliverance or complete healing of this disease. As we look up to you and you alone, we also look up to Jesus on the cross of Calvary, and just as Moses looked up to the serpent lifted up on the pole in the wilderness we look only to you. Our hope is in you and you alone. We desire to look to none other. Without you we have no life and only death. With you we desire to have life. With you we desire to have healing. With you we desire to have deliverance. Jesus. We desire to look to you and you alone to deliver Mike from this disease. We desire to choose you Lord and none other. We desire to serve you Lord and only You. Lord, we desire to please you. Have mercy on us. Have mercy on us. Most merciful and high God. Cast us not asunder. Wipe your memory of our many offenses. Think of the pleasant days Lord that we have had and do not remmeber all the times we have angered you. Lord our life depends on the quickness with which you forget our offenses. But Lord, we know how many times you have accepted us. We know Lord you have told us in Christ you count us as sons of God, in right standing. We know Lord those you have taken in which were hungry, and poor, and naked and cold and thirsty; but Lord we know of no times you rejected those hungry and cold, and naked and thirsty. So Lord, Mike needs you. He has no where else to go. Accept him into your house. Bind up his wounds. Cast off Mike's disease. We ask in Jesus name. Amen.
