Kevin, you are mistaken.

P-II has a better MMX unit over K6 (perhaps not K6-2 with proper software being available, we shall see). You can actually blast away your favorite mutant space alien monsters faster with P-II. P-II also has a superior FPU over K6, and the most important of all is the DIB and Slot-I.

Again, you may be surprised. Nowadays, a lot of CAD stuff are done on power P-II systems. Are you still sitting on your chair?

Time Traveler also share the same concern with you that for AMD's sake Intel takes PC gaming seriously. However, corporate computing is where the money is, not the segment of the market indulging in blasting away mutant space alien monsters.
