Wiseowl, In the past Cyrix had very close ties to the Republican Party. Jack Kemp used to be on the board at Cyrix, and the Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas was in charge of investor relations. It is too bad that nobody asked any microprocessor specific questions during the Kemp-Gore debates. I'm sure that Kemp would have knocked em dead and Bob Dole would now be President. I also suspect that Yousef may have gotten some of his very best process technology ideas directly from President Reagan. Much of Intel's success can surely be attributed directly to this relationship. Scumbria
