Hello Don, I think you may be right about most people being long termers. When the price heads down like it did recently, the potential buyers just step aside and wait to see a new bottom. As soon as the bottom is confirmed or news is released they have to jump back on board and that is OK as long as they dont miss the train. It really is a train that stops for re-fuelling and occasionally loses some passengers who dont have their financial pagers on.

What would be interesting is the frequency with which buyers/sellers check the price. I am seriously thinking of acquiring a financial pager soon so that I can add to my position as soon as the price heads upwards. I have no intention of selling at these levels but may commit more funds on an upmove ( I think one is about to occur this week).
