the company is fine but the way it was handled punished the stock . the first problem is on the way up it was obviously bought by momentum funds which added to the selling pressure on friday. although, the big problem was if management just came out and pre announced and admitted the were to aggressive with the quarter and they are having transitional problems then the stock would have been hit IMO only around 37-42. but, obviously their was information leaked the day before and firms got burnt and that has added to negative emotional selling. just bad pr. i bought some on friday because the simple fact is if they would have deferred some revenue from last quarter to this quarter they would have been fine. this is a pure growth company that had doubled its sales force this year made acquisition and basicly stubled a little in a historical weak quarter where the management felt brave that this quarter could be like last quarter. also, gibson still owns a ton of stock, lot more than anybody else he was probably shellshocked because this might not have happened if deferred revenue and was more upfront with investors. it was one of the strangest events i have seen in a while.
