I am only thinking short term on BRKB because it is more volatile than SPY. On Friday, the S&P and Dow were down well under 1% but BRKB lost 1.5%. Like many high flyers - DELL, LCOS, XCIT - BRKB is sitting on an important resistance point. If the futures are down on Tuesday before the open and gloom reigns, BRKB could be a good short from 2379 down to the low 2200's, the next resistance point.

I am long WPO based on the general loyalty of Buffett investors, plus their deep pockets (and quality WPO management, low foreign exposure, strength of media-based companies, etc.). They won't be as anxious to sell. BRK shorts would be hit and run in a market pullback.

You don't bet against good management long term.
