Meat: Now that we know his motif I think it is safe to assume he turns his portfolio over a min of 200% or more and being the 'consumate trader' that he is any volatility in stock prices could only help his objectives and hence the rumor-mongering however subtle and indirect it might be.

Incidentally, this guy's fund commands only 28 Million in assets... microscopic.

Additionally, If this guys started this rumor himself for personal benefit, the SEC will crucify him. I have searched and can't find any other reference to this rumor. If anyone else finds one I would be interested in reading it..
