Simon sometimes stocks do get way ahead of the fundamentals and PE's are one way to measure if that is true. One thing to keep in mind is a PE can be forward looking as well as a look at the past. The PE of 133 that you refer to is looking back. A forward looking or PEG(growth PE) based on potential growth might expect as much a $1 a share in earnings this year.

How does a PEG of 4 sound?

Pretty reasonable I think?

I will post more on comparative PE's to other company's in the industry tonight if I can find the time between answering other questions.

Regards, Jeff

Simon you wanted to know about how CLCK's PE compares to other PE's throughout the industry? For the sake of argument lets say Columbia Capital is in the "data processing industry."

By that I mean companies that provide credit card processing services and other financial services.

Let's look at 3 other companies that provide these services to banks, financial institutions and other companies that do not have in house data processing capabilities.

The following companies fall into this category:

First Data Corporation: FDC
Current Share Price: 34 9/16's
Ea/Share: $0.79
Current PE: 43.75
Market Cap: $15.4 Billion

Electronic Data Systems: EDS
Current Share Price: 38 5/16's
Ea/Share $1.46
Current PE: 26.24
Market Cap: $18.8 Billion

Total Systems Services: TSS
Current Share Price: $21 7/8's
Ea/Share: $0.25
Current PE: 84.62
Market Cap: $4.159 Billion

Simon and everyone please notice that these companies PE's range from 26 to 84 and while they are all significantly larger than CLCK at this point in time, their main line of business is very similar to that of Columbia Capital.

Now lets say that CLCK does earn somewhere around $1 a share this year. At a PE of 26 that would mean $26 a share. At a PE of 84 it would be $84 a share.

Now surely that seems impossible but is it really?

CLCK on Columbia Capital!
