I strongly suspect this is happening in both gold and to some extent silver too. IMO this is being done to maintain the illusion of a strong bull market .... "see - gold is not going up.... therefore there is no inflation and the equities market is fine". I have heard that from so many "experts" these days it's becoming a mantra.

In any event ... keep up those great posts ... not often we get the benefit of of so many years of experience, gratis .... so far <g>

I believe it. You've probably been all through this on this thread, but how do you feel about charges of "manipulation" by longs in the metals marketsl?
