Since the BB is part of the NASDAQ (totally unrelated to Big/Small cap), I would imagine these trades are still executed through an automated quotation system. Therefore, I would think MMs are in their offices throughout the country unlike the NYSE where specialists (MMs) are on a trading floor.

Good question though. I would certainly not want to see that building burn or cave in while they were there for the day!!! GGGGGG

Hi Macker!

Just checking around to see what you've been up to while I've been gone. Hmmm.....seems like you've been pretty busy! Best wishes to all for a great Memorial Day and a great week in ICVI and others.

I recall reading a post some time ago - perhaps on GaBard's Corner -
that stated that six of the MMs were rooted out working out of the same building in New Jersey, across the river from NYC. Can't remember details, and unfortunately did not bookmark post.

Market Makers are all over the US. Different Firms, everyone from Giant Wall Street Firms to Little One man operations. You can even "play" mm with a "SOES" Small order entry system, with real time Nasdaq quotes and on screen order entry from several brokerages. IE Put your orders in just like the MM, and not have to go to a standard brokerage, like most of us where our orders are "sold" to MMakers.
