Jock,

I just spoke to a Tusk representative and they confirmed a service rig is being lined up and testing will start as soon as possible.

The drilling rig was released on April 20th. The companies involved have 120 days to decide whether or not to use the rig again for further drilling, it's called a rig release contract.

The land sales are at the end of August, past the rig release date. So Apache needs to know the test results of this well in order to make a decision if it's worth participating in any future wells and be part of the land sales. Apache has not secured the rights to any future wells. They are on a well to well basis. I believe the other companies have already secured participation rights to future wells.

I did go to the AGM meeting for Dalton but they were saying nothing about Strachan. However, there were lots of smiles in the room whenever Strachan was mentioned.

C-PAC meeting today {May 26} in Calgary: Oil & Gas Symposium
Place: Westin Hotel 4 Av & 3 st SW ph: 266-1611
Time: Registration at 2:00pm Presentations go from 2:30pm - 6:00pm

TUSK will be presenting from 4:50 to 5:05. I asked Tusk if Strachan will be discussed and they said "no it's still tight hole status, but stick around for the question answer period at the end". Should be interesting.

Dalton and First Star will not be doing a presentation but Doug Robertson and John Squarek will be there.

Looks like it's time to buy more.
