" It is the living Christ that has power, and all who call on his name in any language."

Why don't you apply your words and quit trying to make everyone use the Hebrew language as some kind of mystical and sanctifying language. In English, His name is Jesus. In the original language inspired by the Holy Spirit, His name is Iesus. If you want to go back to the original Biblical language, use the the Greek name Iesus. It is far less ridiculous to insist on using the original Biblical Greek Iesus than using the non-existent Hebrew Yeshuah. You are simply an immature Christian child.

Jesus Christ, the Saviour of mankind, was never called Yeshuah in any of the original Biblical writings. Why do you insist on ditorting the truth? Why do you like deception under the guise of witness? Who are you witnessing to on SI? This is an English speaking forum and not a Hebrew speaking forum. The only justification for using the Hebrew name Yeshua would be if you were talking to a Hebrew audience.

Your purpose is to try and exalt the false traditions of modern Talmudic Judaism and the Hebrew language and not the Lord Jesus Christ and the Body of Christ--the Christian Church.

"Do you really think they spoke English in Yeshua's day"

No, they spoke Greek. So did Jesus. The Jewish Apostles even wrote the Gospels in Greek. St. Paul wrote his Epistles in Greek.

Donald, did you ever consider joining the Greek Orthodox Church?
You could then use the original language of the New Testament and still be in a Christian non-cultic congregation.

The Greek Othodox Church has a beautiful Christian heritage. They preserve some of our earlies Christians writings and relics. They also have maintained St. Cahterine Monastery at the foot of Mt. Sinai for approx. 1700 years. They maintian huge monastic community at Mt. Athos on an Aegean outcroping island. They are profoundly Christian and preserve both the Greek and the Hebrew heritage of the Church.

You would be far more in tune with the Christianity of the Apostles in the Orthodox Church than you are in Talmudic worshipping "messianic" congregations.
