Who's revenue projections are way off? Lorals? I don't think there will be 5 competitors in the Global satphone market soon enough to prevent Globalstar and Iridium from becomming very dominant and powerful. I just had coffee with someone who works for an organization that has a lot of people in Africa. It turns out local calls (within africa) run around $5 US a minute and international ones are in the $10 to $12 a minute range! Even Iridiums old pricing was a steal by comparison to that. I wonder what it costs to call Kazakstan from Nepal right now. Dragonfly
