OK, but what about the ones that do end up having great ideas for companies and go on to be successful, should we not judge the pick by the premise of their idea, their marketing plan, etc.

Obviously stocks in this grouping are higher risk, but SJIG last year was almost a break-even. So big idea with small market-cap might be a good investment?

Bob, interesting info. and good web page. Add
DCHT to your list. There is a DCHT forum here on
SI. I almost bought this unknown at $2.00, and watched
it race up to almost $7.00 in about a week. It has
since fallen back to about $5.50. I also received that
e-mail blast on SJIG. The upside is that each of these
picks do seem to run strongly for about 30 days. The down
side is I typically don't understand the company, nor if
their projections are realistic. I don't care what this
company reported - AVIA has been a stinker for them. I paper
invested the day I got their e-blast and it has never moved
into positive territory. As for SJIG, again, their numbers
look intriguing. Why has the stock fallen from $9 to $3+?
