Thanks for your response on ADI. I'm not familiar with the company's fundamentals and my opinion to buy it between 22 and 24 was based strictly on the chart.

I agree with you with regards to the SOX index and I wouldn't sell VLSI based on what the index does. However, given the historic correlation between VLSI and the SOX, I think it's important to look at the relative strength (or lack thereof) that VLSI exhibits if the SOX tests 255. Based on my read of INTC, which has a big effect on the SOX both in weighting and psychology, it is likely that the SOX will decline a bit more and INTC will test 71 or thereabouts. If VLSI exhibits good relative strength by either basing or going up during this period (if the SOX declines more), then I think VLSI longs are in good shape.
