SERVICE SECTOR / DC Corrosion Sable Island Contract

SABLE ISLAND CONTRACTS WORTH $2.4 MILLION TO D.C. CORROSION

EDMONTON, May 26 /CNW/ - Neil Magrath, President of D.C. Corrosion
Corporation is pleased to announce the company has been awarded the second
stage of a contract (Sable/Brown & Root, Houston, Texas) for sub-sea pipeline
sacrificial anodes for the Canadian Sable Offshore Energy Project. The
project is located in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia) just off the shore of
Sable Island. The $1.7 million second stage brings the total Sable contract
amounts to over $2.4 Million.
Neil Magrath, President of D.C. Corrosion Corporation states ''The
awarding to D.C. of this contract, confirms that we can compete
internationally. Our growth results from our strategy to expand our range of
products, services and technologies to open new markets with new and existing
customers. D.C. Corrosion has shown consistent positive growth since going
public less than three years ago. Efforts by management and loyal staff are
beginning to show now, with 97/98 first half revenues exceeding our revenues
of the previous fiscal year. Earnings per share for the first half of this
year were $0.04, up from $0.005 for the same period in 96/97. We will
continue to invest in new products, technologies and expertise to build for
further growth.''
D.C. Corrosion Corporation, one of Canada's largest corrosion prevention
companies, specializes in the prevention of environmental corrosion through
the use of cathodic protection. The company provides corrosion consulting
services, cathodic protection systems, materials, technologies and equipment
to both private and public sectors.
