HOW TO LAND AN AIRPLANE/SPACESHUTTLE

In my youth, I got my pilots license (single engine land).

I'm no longer current havn't flown in 25 yrs. As I recall

I had about 1700 hrs. Wasn't the best, but always considered

myself a safe one. I never lost a soul, and every plane I

flew took to the air again........eventually.....

The keys to landing a airplane:

1) propoer speed control

2) direction of the wind and its velocity

3) looking long down the runway

A student pilot, when first learning how to land, will always look

just over the nose of the aircraft in order to gage his/her hight

above the runway. The instructor has a heck of a time to break

them of this....and then one day, something clicks in the students

head, a switch turns on, and they start looking long down the runway.

They make their 1st landing 'ON THEIR OWN'.....

With a few more lessons under their belt, the instructor knows their

ready to solo...but the good ones won't tell the student this....

The instructor will wait for the student to ask: 'How long do you think

it'll be before I solo...... answer, how about today......

student (big smile).....and so it goes..

If you daytrade this stock, you'll be no different that the student

looking just over the nose of the aircraft. You might crash!!

Look long, and you'll grease this puppy 'ICVI' right on the runway!

LOOK LONG AND PROSPER....

Mr Biggs ... I realize that by answering this post, I may inspire you to post another dozen or so redundant posts ... But even a broken record can be turned off ... You have asked your 36% question so many times that my mouse is just about worn out clicking past it. What can your possible motive be? If you don't like the idea, then go invest in BICO and leave us alone. You will get no better answer than you have already gotten. Obviously, it is not enough for you, but face it, it is all there is and we really don't care to hear anymore about it ... In other words, MOVE ON!
