Sam,

Bear markets don't usually occur while interest rates are declining or near all time lows. In fact, I don't remember there ever being a bear market in the U.S. when interest rates were declining. We are still in a bull market and the bearish sentiment that currently prevails is further evidence that the bull run isn't over. There continues to be sector rotation and not an outright withdrawal of funds from the market. The next sector to outperform will be semiconductors, IMO of course. I'm not predicting that this will happen tomorrow, but I think it will happen soon.
