I can't speak about others' technical Analysis, since for one I don't use the same ranges in the formula's as Paul S did.

Example: MACD (13,11,50)

The final sell date was Dec 3-4 1997. But it was the march-sept downtrend that makes the Dec selling as the final exit point.
