Pruguy. Re: "Anyone know what it stands to be after the layoffs for the new merged co.?" I would estimate the new CPQ will have about 70,000 employees. Combined Dec and CPQ revenues were about $38 billion giving them $543M per employee. HP ($43 billion/103M) comes in at $417M and IBM ($78.5 billion/269M employees) for $292M.

That's quite a spread IMHO, and when we get profit numbers the spread will be even greater. (All numbers based on 97 actuals from the latest ValueLine.)
