I have been monitoring this thread for quite a while now and also own some Borland stock. This morning I received an update from Red Herring which had an interesting article concerning Borland:

The article can be found at the following url:

redherring.com

It's a discussion of how Borland and Corel have embraced Java. In brief, the article talks positively of Borland, JBuilder, their focus on development tools, improved financial strength and WS/industry recognition.

The article then goes on to discuss Corel and their problems with trying to build an application with Java.

Any opinions on whether this article could have been the reason for Friday's stock price movement?
