Yo_stockroach...................... The point made in the article is the commoditization of graphics chips---very much like the commoditization of modem chips (3COM as an example). If the market looks forward, then all single product graphics companies including 3D Labs, Trident, et all can be affected (as in a lowering of their stock price). Just information to chew on before heavily investing in this or any other graphics only chip stock. I think that S3 should pursue other products to diversify their markets and protect themselves from a single product price crunch, just like a wise investor that diversifies his/her holdings for protection (do not put all your eggs in one basket)!

Salude - Norman!

Does what is going on at TDDDF have any bearing on S3? 3DLabs just announced seq. revs to be down 50% this quarter (!), stock plunged into the 6's today. Barely selling for more than S3! HaHA!
