Dan, agreed ! My opinion is based on the same calculations that you did.
CSCO's long term growth estimate is better than ASND's but in the short term ASND grows faster. (I/B/E/S ASND 98-->99 g is 28% , CSCO's 23 %). That's because last year ASND (at least it's stock) went close to Hades' empire.
