[SOCR update] I had previously expressed reservations on this thread concerning SOCR since, while they had some good growth and FA characteristics, their products were focused on the UNIX arena. Today's announcement shows they may have taken steps to remedy that, but I would to research this further 1st before making a positive recomendation (which I do not plan on doing in the near term due to too many previous incomplete projects) FYI Scott Scan-Optics, Inc.
