Re -- 85xx and Bay's Accelar...

The 85xx was announced by Cisco to SHIP in June. It was DEMOED at N+I, Beta in late May. These are timeframes announced by Cisco.

Go read their web page, before you spew nonsense and spread misinformation.

Bay's Accelar has been shipping since december (beta was done June-Dec), with 2000 evaluation units in the actual networks (interoperating with Cisco routers), and a 2nd generation Accelar shipping..

Once again go spread misinformation on some other thread. Dont show your ignorance here.

<<do me a favor don't bring up AT&T and the cockpit error that went on over there. AT&T is the larger percentage of blame on that.>>

That's an absurd statement. Even Chambers admitted most of the blame was CSCO's.

Gary:

There really is no point in carrying on with illogical statements by your buddy stockman. You have clearly pointed this out in your replies.

Trust me when I say that the 8510/40 is an awesome product line!! Currently there is tremendous interest in this product.

Also if you look at coms, bay, cabletron, asnd all of these companies blew their earnings last quarter while cisco beat theirs.

Based on that alone where would you put your money ?
