I think that a better strategy would be to buy in the money calls about 2 weeks prior to earnings. Sell prior to the release, and buy in the money puts. This way you will make money in both directions.

It's unlikely that the August quarter will be anything wonderful, because sales of Netware 5 will not have occurred. I might consider holding the calls for the November date, since this once may actual show some numbers.
