The big oil companies want EDII land because its the ONLY access to the gulf from where the oil is, I'm told. A major deal with a big oil company could be where this is heading... They might have discovered oil on EDII land too. Out of all of EDII's enterprises I checked out over the past month, this real estate deal was the most promising multi-million dollar revenue maker I saw. Of course then theres that Bloomberg news story Friday for Memorial day about Grill Makers, like EDII's "Pitts & Spitts". Said that "bouyed by a strong economy, consumers are shelling out an average of $140 for grills. Higher price tags could mean record sales for the $1 billion grill business.... American are expected to grill 30000 tons of beef on Memorial day, 11% more than in 1996..." Take that Oprah!
