Kemble, I think that DELL might be beyond infancy. However, I think we have far to go. I sold half of my Jan '99 ($47.5s) calls in the mid-90s, and used the proceeds to execute the other half. It was an even swap. Not bad for holding these calls for a few months. I still have an extensive Jan 2000 position of calls, and in fact, I bought some more when the stock dipped to 83 last week. (Yes, even in France, I still had my hand in the game. Actually, I placed a GTC on the low end of what I'd be willing to pay, and I got 'em.) I don't hold any calls that expire prior to Jan 2000, now.

Loving life (since I'm newly married, and LONGonDELL to boot!).
