Is this a 'guess'? Or do you base this estimate on anything in particular?

I don't think that Veronex will go down to the $4/5 dollar range. It's I/Nova tool set is to valuable. I do believe like that perhaps they should relook at the price structure for coded lines. $1.50/1.75 I do believe may be a little pricy. But, for the long run, Veronex is well positioned. The next few months will bring forth news of failures trying to redo line by line recoding without documentation. The I/Nova tool set lessens the amount of coded lines needed, reduces maintenance fees and provides for cost recovery within a few years. This is sound business practices.
It's just a matter of time. Wish Veronex would land more contracts however. Perhaps it is time for Veronex to reposition itself via pricing.

Ceo's need to be diligent with their information science people. Some of their people are not relating the seriousness of the y2k problems their companies are facing. This problem will only get worst the closer we get to the year 2000. All who are unprepared will eventually be exposed. Buy Veronex while it's still affordable. These reasonable prices will not last too much longer. Get on the wagon now and be a winner. Aloha!
