Yes obviously. It seemed a bit confused on this thread, but I wasn't confused. Buybacks are good for shareholders. These option plans may mean that profits available to shareholders may be overstated.

Base pay plus options is like typical base + commission for sales personnel.

And we complain about the
accounting practices of SEA companies...


I read in Asian ed. of Business Week that the US was complaining about Taiwanese companies paying non-management employees with options.....
