Ann since you mentioned Sodom & Gomorrah look who God supposedly punished for this sin. The woman!!! Seems like the bible is full of that message. God not only favored the jews and slavery but also the abuse of virgins and women, as long as they were pleasing to the men. Pretty effective carrot for animal desires. It's a little better now for women. They are worth less money for equal work. They aren't wise enough to be a church official. Is it any wonder men refuse to give up their pleasures and own a servant to obey their orders???? These good christian believers believe abortion is a sin. I have the opinion is a bigger sin to create an innocent baby without the love of parents. A rapist child who may have damage before birth by bad genes Is not allowed either. Of coarse the "BIBLE SAYS" the woman should pay for the abuse of the rapist and raise his child???? I love the fairness portrayed by "THE BIBLE." Well I got news the bible was written by well intentioned men to guide mans understanding of his being.. Drama and allegory was necessary to communicate to the uneducated and the earlier in life you lied to them the quicker they would believe was the use put them my brute force and brainwashing. Why in order to build the church with Roman catholics it was made a sin if a woman didn't have all the children their body would produce. Proof, look at Catholic families today. The Mafia all attend their Roman Catholic church and swindle its members in the week. The mafia is a big family too which aids in force for protection. But these are God's holy people. Look at the public census for family size by religion.
