Mfr. Speculation Oh what fun it is to ride on multi horsepower sleigh :) Some think that with Dr. Hofbrauer that it must be VW, but if you browse the TRBD website news archives you will notice that the company has been working with Saab for year 2K intros, I presume for the auto segment. Read the 6/6/97 report. imo, the focus should be channeled toward diesel engine mfrs. Check out this link: theautochannel.com Borg Warner Automotive, a division of Echlin, purchased the turbocharger segment of 3K: Kuhnle, Kopp & Kausch last fall. Are these the folks supplying turbochargers to Europe's diesel mfrs? Is it not possible that it is MAN AG? How about some exploration in this regardfrom our European comrades? It's an interesting speculation...this who...but the bottom line is how much profit/turbopac on how many engines produced/year. Here's to a breakout this week through 10.8125 into the twelves soon.
