I just got off the phone with Agent Fusfeld with SEC.

The good news is:
despite what some have posted, the last incident
occurred in the middle of 1996.

The bad news is:
he had no idea when the issue would be settled.
and the charges are serious in that fraud is defined as
intent and occurred over a 2 year period.

My take:
I am not convinced there was intent. For one thing, Mary Ericsen
has 3 mil invested in the company. It would interesting
to hear her side. The SEC seems very tough, probably a good
thing.

I still believe in MINEs golden future.

<<and the general attitude of the analysts is that
this thing would be a good bye anywhere under a $1>>

That is because they are using the target set by
Mr. McFarland, trader extraordinare, of $1--short term.
This was posted last Friday or Saturday on this very
thread (it took them all weekend to find it buried in
the latest 500 posts).

Just kidding, for all we know those trench samples
were the wrong way to do it, who can say this early?
But if you had to be in a mining stock right now, it
might as well be this one. Okay, enough fun for me,
I've said before I don't know that I really have any
skill at trading, so by golly, I'm shutting this PC
off to let MINE and the rest of my picks cook a few days!

Market doing very poorly today, was surprised we
didn't see a better pop in our favorite, but what
the heck--til it makes the paper nobody cares besides
us. Hope you all have cash to do some shopping on the
dips as they say, would not be surprised to see the
dow go down a few percent Wednesday.
