halfscot, do you have a lot of tobacco stock or something? While it is true that tobacco is a legal product, why couldn't we just change the law? The tobacco companies have been SO evil in the number of lies they have told, and in deliberately hooking children on a very, very addictive drug, that I don't personally feel at all sorry for them now. Incidentally, smokers must all have brains the size of pea pods, or they would have stopped by now, right? The society has a legitimate interest in protecting the public health, and that would include even the small brained-among us, who may need to be protected from themselves.
