Doug, it was stipulated in the last NR that they wanted the final lab report back from Apex before CaribGold/ Marum specifically decided what they would do, based on the lab results. That has not come in yet, but according to Apex (reported today), that "results should be available soon." --From the April6/98 NR: ...Additional fieldwork on the Marum/Caribgold joint venture will begin as soon as the core analysis results are evaluated and the airborne geophysical survey results have been reviewed. This work will include sampling, auger drilling and rotary core drilling. Fieldwork, including possible drilling, on certain 100% Marum lands and a portion of the Marum/Micrex joint venture which are adjacent to all-weather roads will begin immediately upon receipt of the airborne geophysical survey results. - - - Marum's other adjacent properties were immediately flown back then, so that a crew could get in there for field work, where Marum will be acting as operator, once the airmag data has been interpreted. [On the CG jv land, CG is the operator]. As that processed airmag data is now coming in (the preliminary data is showing some interesting things! as per today's news), crews will be dispatched to the MMU & MMU/ MIX lands, next week. Apex has now been instructed to appropriate the processed airmag data to new targets and present it to MMU. Marum's crews have already fully commissioned (adapted, configured) their one ton per day gravity separator specifically for the Chinchaga. The 8' "Trommel" is a on site screening apparatus, I've learned, which they've appended to their machine for automation. (For trommel eg, see: mining-technology.com and powerscreen.co.uk When the final lab report is received from Apex, CG/MMU will announce their immediate plans of action. This is still the case. Time frames though have somewhat elongated, I know. But again this is not extraordinary, just a bit frustrating. It's part of the meal! Regards, -j :>
