jhild, All, Old true story or maybe just another urban legend: Back in the days when contact lenses were a novelty and not the norm, a cop stopped a woman who had been driving in a manner which fell somewhat short of that prescribed by the Vehicle Code. When the cop looked at the woman's license, he noted that she was required to wear glasses when operating a motor vehicle, and asked her why she was not wearing her glasses. She replied, "I have contacts." He barked, "Lady, I don't care who you know! Ya' gotta wear your glasses!" Holly
