If the shorts are indeed covering, perhaps we can assume they THINK (KNOW) the bottom is here ? Perhaps they are hearing a distant RUMBLING? Anyway, IMO, short covering would indicate we may be heading upward soon, since they tend to keep their ears close to the ground to pick up DISTANT NEWS-even better than LONGS, generally (now, if news can come quickly, we may catch some hard-of -hearing shorts still kneeling on the ground to listen....AND CRUSH THEM!LOL)
