DLL, do you have some actual statistics on how many Promise Keepers' wives are happy, compared to the entire number of women who belong to NOW? Or are you just generalizing? Incidentally, even if there were technically more, most feminist women do not actually belong to any feminist organizations. The agenda of the Promise Keepers is political, and it is to keep women in subservient positions in America. It is a group of the fanatic far right, the same group who wants to take women's reproductive rights from them (and maim and murder women at abortion clinics). So much for sanctity of life!!! A group of men who really was most interested in loving the women in their lives would not really have much interest in dominating them. The theologians who appeared on the Frontline program on Jesus are affiliated with divinity schools at major universities such as Harvard and Yale. They have post-doctoral degrees in religious studies. They write many books on the subject of Jesus, and religion in general, and are some of our foremost authorities on sorting out what is real about what was going on in Jerusalem two thousand years ago, and what was not. There is all sorts of stuff in the archaeological record which has been excavated recently, and also ancient writings found in the last century or so, which help them decipher who Jesus really was, and what he really said. Obviously, there is a real dichotomy between those who believe literally in what the Bible says, and people who are more open to knowledge and history seeping in. Of course, the "true believers" are motivated to some degree by keeping things secret, like the way the positive role of women was altered so that men could dominate. I guess they were early Promise Keepers!! Did you read the PBS excerpt about early Christian women? What is your objection to it?

Mindless bickering with the enemies of Christ only help to satisfy their need to mock what they do not understand. You have said a mouthful my good man.! More like what they will not understand. It is just too contrary to their lifestyle and they could never live up to the standards that God has laid down. It is just so easy to say that there is no God or that if there is she would understand me and my ways, and let me be the way I want to be no matter how it offends her. Because she is loving, compassionate, tolerant and I can take full advantage of those attributes. You know Donald I saw on a news cast some time ago a march on DC of homosexuals and transvestites and drag queens and a whole host of other very emotionally disturbed individuals dressed up like circus performers,(trying to be taken seriously) who were carrying all kinds of unbelievable messages one of which stated..." God approves of homosexuals, I talked to her myself". That is another reason that many make the blasphemous,and hideous statement that Christ was a homosexual. They attempt to relate to Him on their level. There is a play about to be released now in NYC about the life of Christ, and it depicts Him as a homosexual. What depraved hearts have they.! These double minded abominable heathens really need to get their act together, they are contrary even to themselves. Some time ago they also made a film depicting the life of Christ in which they showed our Lord and Saviour lusting after Mary Magdalene. Did you see or hear of the morning show with katie curic and bryant gumble. In an episode for halloween they ran a contest for best costume. The winners (chosen by curic,and gumble.. maybe otheres also I don't know )were 3 drag queens, holding a bloodied head on a silver platter. The bloodied head represented that of John the Baptist. This group won first place. First prize was dinner at the rainbow room in NYC (Paid for by the rainbow room). When the rainbow room was later asked by a concerned Christian if they would serve dinner to anyone who walked in their dressed up in white sheets holding a mock hanged black man, they of course, thank God, answered no. They were then asked if they would serve someone wearing a swastika and carrying a makeshift oven, they Thankfully again they answered no. Then they were asked if they would serve anyone dressed up as drag queens holding the head of John the Baptist on a silver platter...Their answer was "Well I don't know, maybe you better talk to the head of seating?" That answer would not have been tolerated by any other group in this country, as well it should not be tolerated. In any case it did not end there. Many groups were notified including the legal staff of the show....What entertainment. None of these filthy deeds will go unnoticed by God. They have no idea that loving God and living for Him would change their lives oh so completely and they would then finally understand the real meaning of tolerance and love. They would finally be able to hang up all their hang-ups. They would finally once and for all know true peace,joy and absolute freedom. The sad thing is Donald that they think they don't need God even if He does exist,until something regretful happens in their life, and then every NOW woman, every half baked atheist, every liberal communist, and even every satan worshipper turns their head up to God and begs for help, even some in secret. And in too many cases when that help comes they are right back on the same road to destruction again. There are no atheists in fox holes! 2 Cor 4:1-4 1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; 2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. You know DLL, those waskelly ol promisekeepers. Why it is no tellin what they are up to!!! Why i hear tell that they actually GIVE HONOR TO JESUS CHRIST THROUGH PRAYER AND WORSHIP......imagine that...... when they could be doing more booklearnin about how important their " intellect" is. Some say they are gonna MAKE THEIR SELVES ACCOUNTABLE TO HELP KEEP THEIR PROMISES,.......why i never..... why don't they just have a parade????? And did you hear the latest??
