Thanks for the article, Waitstill; it makes a lot of sense (and that's what scares me; seems like that's the criteria these days for rejecting an approach when politics or government is involved!). ; )

Trivia: AOL LOR thread has 96 posts for 5/24, 25, and 26 (at 5:00 pm CDT). Wild! Even Mike Doyle's entered into the fray with a post titled, "Theatre of the Absurd". LOL!!! He's even threatening to add to his war chest by charging more LOR on his Visa card and is being warned to stop making fun of Senators from certain states! LOL!!! (Ya' still got the touch, Mike!) Reminds me of watching a round of WWF Raw on the tube. Gettin' any beer splashed on you, Mike? LOL!!! ; )

The cure for all this politcal bru ha ha would be one or two nice big CDMA orders from brother Zhu. Lucent and Nortel could get switches and base stations, Motorola could sell a few more of their new fangled Pantech's and the Q could get a few royalties $ to help fund the completion of the G* Chinaways.

This whole thing reminds me of the many free trade jab's that have occurred since the signing of NAFTA. However, our trees still get turned into the walls of US houses, our gas generates US power and will soon be heating wind city homes. And, we can get all the Dell's and QPC 2700's we want, really cheap. The last time I looked, the 2700 was a steal; 99 loonies with a genuine leather (Alberta cowhide?) case.

A buying opportunity for sure. It seems to be the American way.
