<< When viagra was introduced total muse scripts were 13000 per week and I assume at a peak. This is half my estimate of 26603.>>

i have seen reports stating IMS data only tracks about 60% of all written scripts, and i believe VVUS had "peak weeks" higher than 13000. I know in the past, the script data for every week in the last 14 months was posted.

DaiS,

A few things to consider:

weekly script total was about 15,000 before Viagra came out (month of March)

did you include milestone payments in total revenues?

As far as script numbers is concerned remember what Edderd said--often the first new script is for only one or two doses while the patient is getting titrated. Refill will usually be for those who are already titrated and would be for 6 doses. Total unit sales have much more meaning than script numbers. Most of the income will be from refills which have not been effected as badly as new scripts. Remember, refills are usually for 6 doses and new scripts are often for only 1 or 2 doses.
