I spoke with another component manufacturer today who stated that they have recently qualified on a new program, BUT the disk drive manufacturer has not yet announced the new offering. I can only conclude that a leading disk drive manufacturer will soon qualify a head supplier. Will it be RDRT? Let's hope so. This source also stated that the word within the industry is that RDRT is definately NOT OUT OF THE GAME. This source also stated that despite the inventory buildup, the disk drive space is still a GROWTH INDUSTRY. They cited Fujitsu and Maxtor who are believed to be profitable at present, despite the Streets fixation on poor fundamentals. And, as we all know, price erosion is being offset by increased volumes.

IF RDRT CAN QUALIFY ON SOME NEW PROGRAMS SOON, THEN WE WILL SOON BE ON OUR WAY TOWARDS THE HIGH TEENS. THE RISK/REWARD IS VERY FAVORABLE AT PRESENT. BTW, THERE WAS A VERY LARGE INSTITUTIONAL BUYER AROUND ON INSTANET TODAY. THIS WAS THE FIRST SIGNS OF ACCUMULATION I HAVE DETECTED SINCE THE WDC/IBM NEWS. WHO KNOWS, MAYBE IT WAS STITCH! THE STUD!!!!!!!!!!!!11
