When he checked his rumors they were denied but he published it anyway. What a destructive guy! I think he made the whole thing up.

Paul: That 'shmuck' must have gotten an earful from investors, now he is trying get out of it by trying to improve on what he said earlier.

So what if Dell is trying lump all the DELLWARE products into one group that doesn't call for any restatement of past earnings, jeeeeeesssusss give me a break.

Says he called DELL to find out about the rumor that he heard from 'those people' and Dell promptly said they don't comment on rumors.Yeah like they are sitting around in Austin waiting to comment on some shmuck's made up rumor. If anything he should have revealed who 'these people' were, from the looks of it most likely the the Kaufman bros and himself.

Huba,Huba,

Paul,

Looks like it paid off for me to write to wsj and tell them the article was 'vicious rumormongering.'

I also said the Silicon Investor thread was in an uproar over this Howard's article.

Looks like a WIN>

Thank you, Paul, for making SI folks aware of Schacter's article in Smart Money.

And, thanks yet a second time for tipping us to the fact that the article has been revised. Have never seen the likes of this before....

Our hats off to you!!!
