Gary, glad you are thinking the same thing I am. And to think that all my finance professors said technical analysis was a bunch of hogwash! Saving millions of dollars is not hogwash!

What interests me the most at this point is if the decline we will undergo now will turn into a sharp market break to the 5500 long term trendline support area (A similar one existed in 1929). I think the case exists since this is the first bearish divergence we have had in quite some time. And the divergence points to the internal weakness of bulls and the continuing strength of bears. And we have history as a guide which I probably don't have to remind you of again.

This would truly be amazing though if this turns into a drop to 5000 area. Because it would validate the unbelievable worth of technical analysis. It would mean that if someone followed this indicator in 1929, 1987 and 1998 they could have avoided the crash.

Regards,

Tom
