you clearly got shafted. I'd sue. -g- I have a similar story, same time frame. I wanted the MSH 555 june call. But though I could get a rt quote, neither the web site nor with the e-schwab software could I get the order in. The Schwab computers kept telling me I had an "invalid symbol". This has happened b4. What it means is that Schwab doesn't bother putting all options and all strikes into their trading computer system. So you have to call and tell them what you want. Pain in the neck. Anyway, I called, and of course meanwhile about 10 minutes had passed. It's now about 6 minutes 'til 4:00. The woman broker said the ask was 15-1/8. I said go for it with a market order. She wasn't busy at all, and in fact acted relieved that "someone" had finally called, 'cause she was getting bored. So I sat on the phone waiting for the confirmation.

14-1/4, filled at 3:58. Neat huh? (at least tonight I think it's neat, who knows about tomorrow morning -g-).

Lisa

I just signed up with NET2PHONE. You can use their web based phone dialing to call anywher in the US for 5 cents per minute.

havent used it yet. But I did use it once testing and called 800 #s for free. Worked great. So for your calls (specially 800#s) you won't need another line and, I believe, they are still free.

If you try it, let me know how it works out. I will probably try it tomorrow.
