Tom, I fail to see how the NEW AGC management (recall the recent shake-up) is more responsive than ANZ. The 2 companies are joined at the hip over BC, and the content of any news releases containing anything significant has to be mutually agreed upon by both parties. As for Ojolali - 1M oz. on 2 out of 34 zones already is VERY significant IMO, especially now that Indo is showing signs of heading for democracy. Compare this figure to a rumor circulating about SJD's Ghana property that MIGHT have 1M oz. on it - SJD hit 2.90 today on news as I mentioned before, therefore I have a hard time seeing Ojolali as a negative when you consider the potential pay-off in the future. I also do not see the African holdings as a negative...again, the potential for something positive to emerge is there, and I think it is good that Antares is somewhat diversified. As for any legal agreements signed 30 days ago, I find that very hard to believe. Rather, I think it is more likely that there has been nothing finalized to report, and personally I'd rather see a done deal announced concerning any of their business dealings rather than a news release about possibilities that could lead to stock movement on rumor that normally causes more harm than good. Lastly, FOR ANY OF YOU SELLING AT THIS TIME, re-read this paragraph carefully from a recent news release on BC: "The priority for the 1998 program will be the Creek zone. The goal is to duplicate values found in the discovery hole CZ97-98 and further delineate the style and type of mineralization. This hole assayed an average of .156 oz/ton gold over 283 feet and included a high grade (3.016 oz/ton Au, 2.69 oz/ton Ag, 1.34 per cent Cu, 0.46 per cent Pb, and 11.7 per cent Zn), 13 foot wide zone. Geophysical and geochemical anomalies indicate that the zone extends approximately 2,310 feet and could be much longer. " ...when is the last time you saw a hole assayed at an average of .156 oz/ton gold over 283 feet for ANY company? Hawkins found the creek zone and this hole because of his extensive experience as a geologist. My geologist friend (who has been a geologist for a long time), says Hawkins is an excellent man to do the job in BC, and Hawkins is the person specifying the location of next week's hole. Regards, Wayne
