correction -

there ain't no LUVME. it's VUVME. sorry about that.
it's a leap put with a jan 25 strike. looks to me like
a mellow downside play but it's only good if we really
are heading into recession or worse. whatever technical
events are happening in the oil markets, it remains
true that our reserves are extensive, so an oil shock
is not especially likely. the downside, IMO, will have
to come from the economy at large. in that event
there's probably good sport in autos (ford has my
eye) as well.

remarkably, many of my stocks closed the day right
on their trend lines, and not far from their
50 DMAs. so as far as I'm concerned it can still
go either way, but tomorrow will tell.
