To the Thread,

Has anyone spoken to Liz Sharp or anyone else at the company lately? I have left several messages and e-mails with no response. This is highly unusual. I recognize they have been at SID, but they have returned and shortly will enter their quiet period. Anyone have any insights?

Hi N. Saliba:

The dummied up phone we saw at the TFS annual meeting was also on display at SID. It looked much like a Qualcom/Sony mobil phone with an extension below the keyboard down where the mike is. You look into the viewer much as you would a hand held slide viewer. The image was very crisp and easy to see. I wear trifocals and I had no trouble. The Siliscape technology allows the whole lens system to be only 4 millimeters thick. Amazing if you know anything about optics.

What one might do with such a device is not clear in my mind. But I am sure it will prove to be one of those things where if it emerges, so will a lot of applications.
